Transforming Outdoor Living: From the Three Season Room to the Stamped Concrete Patio

At Rosewood Decks and Outdoor Living we think that every single thing counts when we are making outdoor spaces look nice and work well. We just finished a project where we used craftsmanship, nice design and things that will last a long time. We changed a porch and patio into a really nice three season room that people will want to spend time in. The Rosewood Decks and Outdoor Living team did a job on this project. We made the porch and patio area into a polished and inviting three season room, at Rosewood Decks and Outdoor Living.

We put durable PVC trim on all the posts and beams on the outside of the house. The PVC trim looks really clean and nice. It does not need a lot of work to keep it looking good unlike wood. On the inside the posts are bare 6×6 beams with the structure showing. This gives the space a nice rustic feel. The PVC trim on the outside and the bare beams, on the inside make a contrast. The PVC trim is a choice because it is durable and easy to take care of and the bare beams are a nice touch because they add some rustic charm to the space.

We put in SunSpace windows to finish the three season room. These SunSpace windows were made to look like the rest of the house. We also got an Andersen storm door to go with the door. The result is a three season room that’s strong and nice to look at and comfortable. This three season room is great, for using all year round.

We then made the outdoor living space bigger by putting in a concrete patio. First we made sure the ground was even and level. We did this before we poured the concrete. We also put down a layer of rocks that we packed down tightly. On top of that we poured a layer of concrete that was four inches deep. We added joints to the concrete patio so it would not crack.

The concrete was made to look like Slate. Was stamped to have an Ashlar Slate pattern. This gives it a texture that looks like stone but it does not cost as much as stone. The new part of the patio looks like it has always been there it matches the part perfectly. Now there is room to have parties relax or just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, in North Carolina.

We finally got to the homeowners driveway. The driveway needed some work. First we made sure the base was even and flat. Then we packed it down tightly. After that we poured a layer of concrete about 4 inches and made sure to add spaces for it to expand. The homeowners driveway has a finish that is brushed which is good, for a few reasons. It helps people from slipping on the driveway. The brushed finish also looks really nice and clean. So the driveway is good to use. It looks good too.

Our team took care of everything from start, to finish. We put in trim work and installed SunSpace windows. We also did stamped concrete. Extended the driveway. This completely changed the look of the property. The SunSpace windows and stamped concrete and new trim work and driveway extension all work together to make the property look great and a long time.
